003. Past School Sport Stars Excel at National Athletics Series Meet
 

This is one of a series of meets where athletes can compete to obtain A or B qualifiers in the lead up to the Olympic Games in August. The National Series Meet in Sydney on January 12 produced some wonderful results by past NSWPSSA and NSWCHS representatives.

 The National Trials will be held on February 28, 29 and March 1 in Brisbane.

Dani Samuels (Westfields Sports HS) won the discus with a throw of 53.45m.  Dani was a recipient of a NSWCHS Blue in Athletics in 2005.

Olivia Tauro (Crestwood HS) won the 400m in the time of 53.1.

Lachlan Chisholm (Wagga Wagga HS) won the 1500m in 3.42.96.  Lachlan is one of a select few to win a NSWCHS Blue in two sports in the one year.  In 1997, Lachlan won a Blue in Athletics and Cross Country.

Adam Miller (Port Macquarie HS) won the 100m in 12.29.

Trychelle Kingdom (Moruya HS) came a very creditable fourth running against Tamsyn Lewis in the 800m.  Trychelle was a recipient of a NSWCHS Blue in Athletics only last year in 2007.
