The first match on the march to South Africa and the next Football World Cup has begun. The win against Qatar on Wednesday was the start Australia needed as they have to finish in the top two of this section in Asia to make it through to the next round of qualifiers.

In the final squad, of twenty one, former representatives from NSWPSSA and NSWCHS played a role.

The next two matches are away under trying conditions.  Australia plays China in high altitude and Iraq in what most likely will be very hot and humid surroundings.
