Janelle Shepherd, a former student of Erskine Park High School, has attained her childhood dream to represent her country at the Olympics.

Janelle Shepherd has been selected in the 2008 Olympic team in the sport of Judo.

Janelle was a silver medallist at the Youth Olympics held in Sydney in 2005. In the same year Janelle Shepherd won the first Oceania Judo Union World Cup event held on the Gold Coast in 2005.

Congratulations are extended to Janelle who will compete in Beijing in the 78kg event.
