A team of fifteen has been named for the Beijing Olympic Womens’ Water Polo. 

In this team there are five former NSWCHS Water Polo representatives.  Taking into account that the team is an Australia wide selection this is a remarkable achievement.

Three of the players are former Kirrawee High School and two are former Sefton High School representatives.

Congratulations to Rebecca Rippon and her sister Melissa Rippon from Sefton High School.

Rebecca Rippon:

Rebecca commenced Water Polo at the age of 13 when she was recruited into the school squad.

At school Rebecca also played Netball, Football, Swimming and Softball.

Melissa Rippon:

Melissa also commenced playing Water Polo at thirteen years of age.  Melissa represented her school at Netball and Swimming.  In the same year Melissa went on to represent NSW in the U14s Water Polo.
