The Inter Regional Golf Championships were held in Coffs Harbour from July 1 to July 3.

Tony Stair Trophy

In honour of the commitment, hard work and dedication of Tony Stair a new competition was proposed for the All Schools Golf Championships. Tony Stair was the NSWCHS Golf convener from 1987 to 2003. The inaugural title was played for in Coffs Harbour.

NSWCHS selected their team of four boys and four girls from the stroke play championships earlier in the year. The team trophy is played for over a period of two days between a team from CHS, CCC and CIS. The best three scores from the boys and girls over this period are counted.

NSWCHS at the end of the two day period were the proud winners of this trophy. Tony Stair attended the carnival to present this trophy.
