Dylan Patman (Endeavour Sports HS) met Mandy Robertson (Sydney Distance Education HS) in 2005 when he was selected in the NSWPSG team to compete in Melbourne. At these Games Dylan won six gold medals and one silver medal. Dylan was 10 years old and decided to take his Athletics seriously due to the encouragement and dedication of Mandy Robertson the State Coach. Dylan says this “When I started high school, Mandy, was our Regional Manager and I enjoyed letting her know my achievements. Mandy was at the Pacific School Games in 2008 in Canberra where I won the Gold in the State Relay and Silver in the Long Jump. This year was my last year as an U15 AWD athlete at the NSWCHS State Athletics Championships. I won Gold medals in the Long Jump, 100m, 200m; silver in the 800m and Discus and Bronze in the Shot Put and Javelin. This has been one of my best performances and I feel really happy and proud to be representing my school Endeavour Sports HS and Sydney East School Sport.” Dylan Patman puts his achievements down to the constant support and coaching from Mandy Robertson.
