Coolah Central School Student Equals Record in Cross Country

07 September 2009

Hayley Arden (Coolah Central School) is a talented, dedicated athlete with natural charm and a positive attitude towards her sport.

Hayley became interested in athletics at the tender age of seven when she first competed and came a creditable thirty-second in the 9yrs Cross Country at the NSWPSSA All Schools State Championships.

At the recent School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships held in Nowra, NSW, from 28-31 August, Hayley came in first in her 13yrs age group. Hayley Arden has now won her age group title at SSA for 4 consecutive years.  In achieving this magnificent result Hayley now shares this record with Jessica Gilfillan 17yrs from Queensland.

Hayley has gone from strength to strength in her running.
