NSW Combined High Schools congratulations Dani Samuels a former pupil of Westfields Sports HS on her awe-inspiring gold medal throw at the World Athletic Championships.  On Saturday morning local time Dani threw a wonderful 65.44m to win the world title.

Dani holds the NSWCHS records in all Shot Putt events from 14yrs to 17yrs+. Dani also set the NSWCHS Discus record in the 17yr+ event in 2006.  Dani was awarded a NSWCHS blue for Athletics in 2005.

Everybody is thrilled for you Dani.  You are thoroughly deserving of all the accolades. At the age of twenty one Dani is the youngest female to win a world title in Discus.
