Jake Hammond Heathcote HS will attempt to win the NSWCHS 17yrs+ 100m and 200m sprint double at the NSWCHS Athletics Championships which are to be held at SIAC from 3-5 September.

At the recent Sydney East Athletics carnival Jake Hammond broke both the 100m and 200m records. The 100m record had stood from 1998 and the 200m record had stood from 1985.

In the Sydney East Region Jake Hammond now holds the 100m record with a time of 10.78 and the 200m record with a time of 21.47. 

Jake will also hope to go close to breaking the records of 10.45 and 21.25 at the NSWCHS Championships held by Paul Greene (Shoalhaven HS).
