Matthew Lewis a year 12 pupil in 2008 at The Hills Sports HS had a stellar year in Football. Matthew was player of the series in the Sports High Schools Five Round Robin Football Tournament. At the NSWCHS Inter Regional Championships Matthew was player of the tournament and then went on to captain the NSW All Schools team and the Australian school boys team that toured Japan and Korea. Matthew Lewis a midfielder was signed with the Central Coast Mariners at the end of 2008. Matthew Lewis was a recipient of a NSWCHS blue for Football in December 2008. Congratulations Matthew NSWCHS will watch your future career in Football with interest. Nathan Kenyon (Dubbo College Senior Campus) was a player of note at the recent NSWCHS Championships held at the Seymour Shaw Stadium, Miranda from May 19 to May 21. In 2008 Nathan was selected in the NSWCHS twos. He then gained selection in the NSW All Schools Team. Nathan Kenyon was then selected as a shadow keeper in the Australian All Schools Team. Owing to injury to another selected player Nathan was drafted into the team and toured Japan and Korea. At the end of this tour Nathan was judged to be up with the best couple of players. In 2009 Nathan has been selected in a young development training squad with the Mariners. At the recent NSWCHS Championships Nathan gained selection in the NSWCHS 1st Squad. | |
