The NSW PSSA has agreed to continuing trialling the following changes to The Tony Lockett Shield for 2008 1. Rounds 1-3 will be played as Gala Days. 2. 16 such Gala Days will be held around the state with the winner of each Gala Day progressing to the Round 4 which will then revert to a KO Competition. 3. The Gala Days will be played in a Round Robin format. 4. The Area Convenor or Designated Teacher Co-ordinator will select a venue, a date and decide the format of the day. 5. He may, if necessary, reduce the size of the field and the number of players per team (minimum 14) 6. Each game will be played in halves(minimum 15 mins) 7. The Gala Days are scheduled to be held in Weeks 8-10, Term 2 and Weeks 1-2, Term 3. 8.
