Applications for 2011 Riverina Primary & Secondary Executive, Manager & Coaches Positions 

Any teachers interested in the above positions are reminded that these positions will be voted on at the AGM in early term 4 and applications close on FRIDAY 24^th SEPTEMBER. 

Application forms may be found on the Riverina School Sport website. 

Entries for NSW CHS Knockouts for 2011 

Entries for the NSWCHS knockouts for 2011 close on FRIDAY 24^th SEPTEMBER.  Nominations need to be filled out and faxed to NSW CHS, (02) 9707 6937.  A copy of this nomination form needs to be sent to the Riverina School Sports Association (02) 6937 3875.  Please keep a copy of this nomination on record. 

2011 Riverina School Sports Calendar 

A copy of the DRAFT of the Riverina School Sports Association calendar for 2011 will be e-mailed to all schools by the end of term 3.  Feedback from schools that have concerns with regard to any dates should be forwarded to Jason Wilesmith (jason.wilesmith@det.nsw.edu.au), as soon as possible so that any clashes may be addressed. 

2011 Riverina Regional Swimming Dates 

A number of schools are starting to make booking for next year swimming carnivals. The following dates have been booked for the Riverina regional carnival;

                        Primary- Friday 4^th March, 2011

                        Secondary – Monday 7^th March, 2011 

Primary Golf Day 

A primary golf day will be held on Monday 18^th October at the Thurgoona Country Club Resort. Entries close on the 24^th September. The cost is $15 which includes green fees and BBQ lunch. Players are required to have an AGU Handicap and Golf Link Number. A flyer was forwarded out to all primary schools earlier this term. 

Secondary Triathlon 

Riverina School Sport will host its first ever Secondary Triathlon at Deniliquin on Sunday 12^th December. A flyer will be forwarded out to all secondary schools this week relating to race distances, age groups and entries. If there are any teacher(s) interested in being be a convenor for the carnival please contact Jason Wilesmith at Riverina School Sport.
