PRE-SELECTION TRIALS

Districts are invited to nominate one team to participate in these pre-selection trials organised on an Eastern and Western basis as follows:

1. The Pre-selection Trials will commence at 9.30 am with a Manager's Meeting. Games commence at 10.00 am.
2. At the Pre-selection Trials the team will play a round robin followed by Possibles/Probables. From these games 16 players, including one goalkeeper, will be selected to attend the Final Selection Trials at Burns Park, Junee on Thursday 3 May 2007.
3. Each District Association may nominate a squad of 14. Children from non-government schools ARE NOT eligible for Riverina team selection.
4. Each team to provide one size 4 competition ball, making sure it is clearly marked with school or association name.
5. Games shall be 12 minute halves with no half time.
6. Players are to wear numbered shirts and managers are asked to have individuals playing with the same number throughout the competition.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Boys displaying the best skills in the pre-selection trials will be selected
• The Selection Committee will be determined at the Managers' Meeting. NSW Soccer Director of Coaching will be asked for input.
