Tennis Trials / Championship Information
Riverina PSSA Tennis trials are arranged into two district trial days. the first of these trials are called the Pre-selection Trials and are held within the four districts of the Riverina (Albury, Deniliquin, Griffith and Wagga Wagga). At the pre-selection trials five girls and five boys are selected to represent their district at the Final Selection Trials which are held in Griffith. during the Final selection trials 5 girls and 5 boys will be selected to represent Riverina at the State Tennis Carnival.

Schools and Districts are invited to nominate players for the Girls and Boys Tennis Pre-selection Trials:
Deniliquin: Monday 3 March 2008
Wagga Wagga: Wednesday 5 March 2008
Griffith: Friday 7 March 2008
Players should be playing competitions and now how to score and serve.
Closing date of entries: Monday 25 February 2008 (week 5, term 1) with the following district Conveners. Venues and court costs to be announced by District Conveners.

Trials will commence at 9.15 am. Players selected must be prepared to travel to Griffith on Friday 14 March 2008 (week 7, term 1) for the final selection. Please see below for final selection details. This sheet should be downloaded, photocopies and given to the children.
An absolute maximum of FIVE SEEDED players per team to be selected. Selected teams are to be forwarded to Mr Duncan Adams, Griffith North Public School - fax: 02 6962 10423 immediately following the trials by each Convener.

PSSA GIRLS & BOYS TENNIS FINAL SELECTION TRIALS
Date: Friday 14 March 2008 (Week 7 Term 1)
Venue: Jack Shannon Tennis Courts, Noorilla Street, Griffith
Time: 9.00 AM FOR A 9.15 AM START
Cost: $6 each for court hire, ball hire & levy to be paid by each participant
Dress: Correct tennis attire to be worn. Shoes are to be flat soled. No ripple soles allowed.
