TRIAL ORGANISATION:
- Registration of all players
- Warm up
- Skills practice
- Shooting
- Game play
- Selection of Riverina team
- Organisation of team, information given out, uniforms measured, training information and plays issued
RIVERINA SELECTION:
- All students who attend state high schools in the Riverina are eligible to trial
- Please encourage all players opf suitable ability to attend
- Please indicate on nomination form if as a coach you would like to assist in the selection of the riverina team to compete in NSW CHS Championships in Tamworth, Term 2 week 4 - 19 to 22 May 2008.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Good shooting skills
- Good basic skills particularly footwork
- Defensive skills
- Offensive skills
- Ability to team together with other players and to read the game ("game sense")
- Understand basic plays in the game of basketball, full court presence, 2 -1 - 2 defence and offensive plays.
