** The combining of the Boys and Girls Trials relies on players being prompt, organised and co-operative
CLOSING DATE FOR NOMINATIONS: Friday 21 March 2008. The majority of the trials will be held on the water based synthetic surface and will be organised on an INDIVIDUAL basis.
- It will be in the interest of the students for coaches to nominate INDIVIDUAL players who:
a) understand their commitment if selected;
b) are able to stand for selection; and
c) are of a suitably high standard to gain selection (please be discerning)
- Because there is such a short period of time between trials and state carnival selected players should know
a) shirt size
b) billeting/staying with parents
- All ground rules MUST be obeyed at all times
- a) Footwear:
- no stops/footy boots,
goalies must have all buckles taped and no stops on kickers
Incorrect gear WILL NOT be permitted on ground
b) All field players must wear shinpads
c) Mouth guards are strongly recommended
d) Goalkeeps must wear protection equipment. Helmets are compulsory.
- Coaches are invited to contribute to the selection process
- Coaches are asked to fill out the nomination forms as accurately as possible
- Coaches are asked to assist with umpiring on the day
- Canteen facilities available.
- An UMPIRE must be selected to travel with the team, please encourage able students to nominate.

The Boys' Inter-Area Carnival will be held on 3-5 June at Grafton
The Girls' Inter-Area Carnival will be held on 27-29 May at Unanderra
