SCHOOL DESCRIPTON
Austinmer Public School
is situated directly opposite Austinmer Beach.  It is supported by a community that enjoys being involved with school activities and events.  The school has an enrolment of 280 students that are distributed in 10 classes.  The school enjoys a good reputation in sporting and cultural areas of the curriculum.  There is no restriction on involvement in the variety of activities offered by the school.  The students respond well to the stimulus these activities bring and give their best effort in everything they do.

The school’s P&C Association provides consistent and generous support for the many aspects of sporting life the school offers.  It was awarded a grant by the Department of Sport and Recreation in 2000 to install a hard-surface Multi-Purpose court that will provide the community with a valuable training area as well as enhance active programs the school is trying to foster.
