SCHOOL
DESCRIPTION In August 2001, there were 723 pupils enrolled in the school. The gender ratio is 50% boys and 50% girls. Approximately 15% of pupils enrolled at Harbord Public School are from a wide variety of Non-English-Speaking backgrounds. Staffing Thirteen staff have experience in coaching school sporting teams for PSSA in netball, soccer (girls and boys), touch football, cricket, league, rugby, softball and teeball. Eight staff have accreditation in: Soccer Level 1, Netball Level 0, Gymnastics Level 0, Rugby League Level 0. Two staff members are trained dance teachers. Three staff members have training in the Special Swimming Scheme course. Staff have experience at zone or area levels in the following: Zone rugby league coach, Area rugby league selector, Zone rugby league convenor, Area rugby league manager, Swimming zone convenor, Zone touch football (girls) selector, Zone soccer (girls) selector, PSSA convenor netball/softball/ teeball/touch football.
