GENERAL COMMENTS:

The carnival ran extremely smoothly due to the support of the Bathurst Basketball Stadium manager Paul Masters and the Western Area Management team of Peter Ipkendanz and Janelle Evans. The majority of refereeing and bench duties were covered by High School students from Denison College Bathurst Campus. The standard of games was very good but the well drilled Polding team proved too strong for their opposition South Coast winning the State title 42 - 38.

Recommendations:

A bench protocol document be prepared for distribution yearly to the organising region and all team managers.
Preparation of a package of information regarding procedures and expectations to be given to organising region to help with pre carnival preparation.
The knockout competition to have a FINAL entry date to avoid issues related to teams coming in to the competition late.
REMOVE RULE 5:9:2e regarding the use of a primary care person. (Notice on motion)
