General Comments:
An extremely well run carnival by CIS after very thorough preliminary preparation by Carnival Manager Mary Webster (AIS NSW) and Lyndall Jesse (NSWCIS Executive Officer). The Manly Warringah Softball Association was very accommodating and extremely supportive of our carnival. Geoff Fox organised a professional group of umpires which ensured that the games ran smoothly. This week’s highlight was the Pitching Coaching Session given by former NSWPSSA Girls State Team Coach, Scott Williamson, on Tuesday afternoon. He provided the session for all players, team coaches and managers. This proved an excellent opportunity to help improve their skills and training techniques. It was very well received by all.
