Pre Trials, NORTHERN ZONE: (Balmain, Eastern Suburbs, South Sydney, Sydney Coastal, Western Suburbs Zones)
Date: Monday 15 June, 2009.
Venue: Matraville Sports High School, Anzac Pde, Chifley
Time: 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Entry: Same as Southern Zone

Pre Trials, SOUTHERN ZONE: (Botany Bay, Cronulla, Engadine, Georges River, Sutherland & Wiley Park Zones)
Date: Monday 22 June, 2009. 
Venue: John Dwyer Oval, Oleander Pde, Caringbah 
Time: 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Entry: All children attending State Primary Schools affiliated to the Sydney East PSSA are invited to attend Rugby trials. Both Rugby and Rugby League players are welcome but experience and a sound understanding of Rugby is a distinct advantage. The Pre-Trials are a prerequisite for attending the full day trial. Players will be selected from the Pre-Trial to attend the full day trial to be held on Monday 6 July, 2009 where a Round Robin series will be conducted.


Selection: Children selected in the SEPSSA Team will compete in the NSWPSSA State Carnival at Camden from 25 to 27 August, 2009.

Gear: Players should come with the appropriate gear. eg: jersey, boots., etc.

Selection Policy - Teams:
Students must compete at the Regional Trials in order to allow them to be considered for selection in the Regional team to compete at the State Carnival, unless they are:
i)  Competing at a higher level school competition 
ii) Suffering injury or illness.  In this case, a Doctor's certificate must be presented.
In these cases, a request for consideration for inclusion in a train-on squad for the Regional team must be presented to the Convener.  This is to be verified/endorsed by the student's Principal and Zone/District Convener.  This will then be considered for inclusion be a panel ie (Executive and Convener).
