Students who intend to participate in the NSWCHSSA Pizzey Cup Trials at Penrith will be required to bring an extra $20.00 in case of selection.
Entry: All entries must be with the SESSA Convener prior to the trials. Entries must be of A Grade standard and tournament players
Please indicate on entry form whether the individual is entering the Open or U/15 division.
Selection Policy - Teams:
Students must compete at the Regional Trials in order to allow them to be considered for selection in the Regional team to compete at the State Carnival, unless they are:
i) Competing at a higher level school competition
ii) Suffering injury or illness. In this case, a Doctor's certificate must be presented.
In these cases, a request for consideration for inclusion in a train-on squad for the Regional team must be presented to the Convener. This is to be verified/endorsed by the student's Principal and Zone/District Convener. This will then be considered for inclusion by a panel ie (Executive and Convener).
Selection: (12)Open Girls and (12) 15 and under Girls will be selected to compete at the NSWCHSSA Individual Tennis Championships from 17 to 19 March, 2009 at Penrith.
A Sydney East SSSA team will be selected to compete at the NSWCHSSA State Carnival at Armidale from 8 to 10 September, 2009.
Entry Form: Should be faxed to M Sheean 9527 3412 by Tuesday, 10 February, 2009.
