Program: The PRIMARY ATHLETICS PROGRAM is presented here for you to download and print.
Students with Disability: Events will be held at our Regional Carnival. Students must have the appropriate DISABILITIES CLASSIFICATION ENTRY FORM. The entry form must be forwarded to the Sydney North Regional Office (Fax: 9707 6936) by Friday 31 July 2009.
Footwear: Footwear is compulsory. Spikes are optional however spikes are not permitted in the 800m events. If students wish to wear spikes the following up to sized spikes are allowed: Track - 7mm Jumps - 9mm.
Age Groups: 8yrs - born 2001, 9yrs - born 2000, 10yrs - born 1999, 11yrs - born 1998, 12yrs - born 1997, 13yrs - born 1996, Junior - 8yr/9yr/10yr, Senior - 11yr/12yr/13yr.
Starting Blocks: Starting blocks may be used, at the discretion of the athlete, in all laned track events, except where this contravenes any rule(s) made by the venue management on the use of starting blocks. Only starting blocks supplied at the Sydney Athletic Centre are permitted to be used.

Apparel: Sydney North SSA apparel will be on sale at the Championships.

Officials: Applications are called for officials. Casual relief is available for successful applicants. The PRIMARY ATHLETICS OFFICIALS Teacher Application Form must be completed and retutrned by Friday 21 August 2009.
Zone Team Managers: Zones are requested to fund relief for team managers. Zones are no longer required to supply a manager to act as a carnival official.
NSWPSSA Championships: Wednesday 28 October & Thursday 29 October 2009 at Sydney Athletics Centre Homebush.
All Zone Teams must sit in their designated areas.
