Group Format: The area is divided into the following 4 groups.
Group 1: Warringah / Manly / Pittwater / North Shore Zones
Coordinator: Dan Betts - Wheeler Heights PS
Group 2: Beecroft / Hornsby / Kuringgai / Ryde Zones
Coordinator: Sue Chiddy - North Ryde PS
Group 3: Woy Woy / Brisbane Waters Zones
Coordinator: Scott Campbell - Woy Woy South PS
Group 4: Wyong / Tuggerah Lakes Zones
Coordinators: Graeme Dell - Brooke Avenue PS and Ross Francis - Chittaway Bay PS
Group Trials: Trials will be organised by nominated Zone Coordinators. These Coordinators will inform individual schools in their group of venue and dates for group trials. Group Coordinators should select 13 players and 2 reserves for the Sydney North Trials.
NB: The 11Yrs State Carnival is played with 13 players.
Uniform: Students should be appropriately dressed with mouthguards, head gear, shoulder pads, boots and football jumper.
Lunch: Students should provide their own lunch and drinks. Canteen facilities are available.
Other Details: Group Coordinators should forward a team list detailing player positions to the Sydney North Convener before Wednesday 1 April 2009. All students attending the trials need to bring the PRIMARY RUGBY LEAGUE/RUGBY UNION PERMISSION NOTE and GENERAL SYDNEY NORTH TRIALS STUDENT PERMISSION NOTE to the Trials. All students attending Sydney North Trials need the permission of their School Principal, Sports Organiser, Organising Teacher and Parent.
Age State Selection Requirement: Students 13 Years of age can attend the trials and are eligible for selection in the Sydney North Team. They are however, ineligible for selection in the NSWPSSA Team.
Selection: Students selected in the Sydney North Team will compete in the NSWPSSA State Carnivals as follows:
NSWPSSA State 11 Years Rugby League Championship:
Tuesday 16 June - Thursday 18 June 2009 at Parkes.
NSWPSSA State Opens Rugby League Championship:
Tuesday 30 June - Thursday 2 July 2009 at Griffith.
Training: Term 2 - Wednesday afternoons 4.00pm at TBA.
